Data Deletion
You can ask RideRode to delete your account and personal data at any time. This page explains how, what gets deleted, and what we may keep. It also covers deletion requests for people who signed in with Facebook or Google.
What we delete
- Your profile, display name, picture, city, bio and sign-up survey answers
- Your listings, photos and videos
- Your bids, favorites, saved searches and notification history
- Your comments and the reviews you wrote
- Your email preferences and the link between RideRode and your Facebook or Google sign-in
Your listings disappear from the site as soon as your account is deleted.
What we may keep
- Payment records (amount, date, plan), kept as long as tax and accounting law requires. These are no longer linked to a profile.
- Records we need to prevent fraud, enforce our Terms or resolve a dispute that is already open.
- Messages you exchanged with other users may remain visible to the other person in anonymized form, because they are part of that person’s own records.
Remove RideRode from your Facebook account
You can also cut the connection yourself:
- Open Facebook and go to Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites (or Business integrations).
- Find RideRode, select it and choose Remove.
- Optionally tick the box to delete posts, photos and videos RideRode posted to your timeline. RideRode does not post to your timeline.
Removing the app stops Facebook sharing new information with us, but it does not by itself delete the account we already hold. Email us as described above to have that deleted.
Google sign-in
To remove RideRode’s access to your Google account, go to your Google Account’s Security → Your connections to third-party apps & services page, choose RideRode and select Delete all connections. Then email us to delete the data we hold.
