Privacy Policy
RideRode (“RideRode,” “we,” “us”) runs riderode.com, a classifieds marketplace for motorcycles, ATVs, side-by-sides and snowmobiles. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By using RideRode you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
- Account information. When you sign in with Google or Facebook we receive your name, email address and profile picture, plus an identifier from that provider. We never receive your Google or Facebook password.
- Profile and sign-up survey. Optional details you add, such as city, state, a bio, a dealer name, how you heard about RideRode and what you are interested in doing.
- Listings and activity. Vehicle details, photos, videos, prices, locations you enter, bids, favorites, saved searches, comments and questions, and reviews you write or receive.
- Messages. Messages you send to other users through RideRode.
- Payments. If you buy a seller plan, our payment processor collects your card or wallet details. We receive only a record of the payment (amount, date, plan and a processor reference). We do not store full card numbers.
- Usage and device data. Pages viewed, approximate location from your network address and time zone, browser and device type, and cookies or similar identifiers. We use our own page-view counter and Google Analytics.
How we use it
- To provide RideRode: create your account, show your listings, run auctions and bidding, connect buyers and sellers, and process plan payments.
- To send notifications you can control, such as new messages, outbid alerts, auction results, saved-search alerts and price drops. You can change these any time in your email settings or with the unsubscribe link in each email.
- To keep the marketplace safe: detect fraud and abuse, review reports, resolve review disputes and enforce our Terms of Service.
- To understand and improve the site, including measuring traffic and the results of our promotion.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
What other people can see
Your display name, profile picture, city and state, verified badge, seller ratings and reviews, listings, and public questions and comments are visible to anyone. Bids are shown to the public only as anonymous labels such as “Bidder 3.” After an auction ends, the seller can see the high bidder so the two of you can arrange the sale. Your email address is never shown publicly.
Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
- Service providers that run RideRode for us: Supabase (database, sign-in and file storage), our payment processors (such as Stripe), a video host for listing videos, an email delivery provider, Google (sign-in and Analytics) and Meta (Facebook sign-in).
- Other users, as described above, when you list, message, bid or review.
- Authorities or other parties when required by law, to protect safety or rights, or in a merger or sale of the business.
Sellers on the Seller Plus and Dealer plans may have a listing featured in a post on LA Nik’s Facebook page. Those posts include only the listing information the seller has already made public and are labeled #ad.
Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and local storage to keep you signed in, remember preferences such as your market and sort order, and measure traffic. You can block cookies in your browser, but parts of the site may not work.
How long we keep information
We keep your account information while your account is open. When you ask us to delete your account (see Data Deletion) we delete your profile, listings, photos, bids, favorites, saved searches and notifications. We may keep limited records, such as payment records, for as long as the law requires, and messages or reviews may remain in anonymized form where another user still needs them.
Security
We use encrypted connections and database access controls to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
- Edit your profile and listings in your account, and change email notification settings at any time.
- Ask us to access, correct or delete your information by emailing kenny@entrepreneurialpm.com.

- If you live in California, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or another place with privacy laws, you may have additional rights, including to know what we hold about you and to object to certain uses. Email us and we will respond within the time the law requires.

RideRode is for people 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
